Date of Birth Appending

Any data file containing full name and address can be appended with date of birth. Typically, seventy to seventy-five percent of a submitted file will be appended with birth dates. Birth dates allow Enertex to calculate the age of patrons. Various public domain and private sources are utilized to append this data.

The result of this processing provides tools for basic research for the marketing and development departments of many organizations.

The marketing department may have instances where there are "age sensitive" offers; for instance, seniors' events or younger audience events. By enhancing a database with age, these direct mail or telemarketing offers can be targeted to the appropriate age group.

Development departments can focus on "ask amounts" based on a person's age. For instance, ask for smaller gifts from younger audience members and ask for larger gifts from older audience members. Many fundraisers use age appending in conjunction with estate planning and gift annuity efforts.

Deceased Flagging

Using a variety of proprietary and public sources, a data file consisting of full name and addresses can be submitted through a procedure to identify deceased individuals.

This processing is used to "clean-up" databases and to eliminate the embarrassment of mailing to or calling individuals who are deceased.

Typical processing time for deceased flagging is less than five working days.
